Stigma of the Wind

Yagami Kazuma was originally part of the Kannagi family, a respected family of fire users who have an affinity to fire. However, after being easily defeated by his cousin Ayano and having no talent whatsoever in fire magic, Kazuma is banished and casted out from his family. 4 years later, Kazuma finally returns to Japan, this time as an exceptionally powerful wind user. A series of murders on Kannagi family members have occurred with his arrival. While most of the family including Ayano is convinced Kazuma is the culprit, he honestly isn't. These events begin an all out war against the Kannagi family, with Kazuma and Ayano right in the middle of it. Based on the novel by Takahiro Yamato.

Lonesome eyes,
What are you looking on this sky?
Kimi-ha kaze-no yaiba-de

Naiteru sakenderu hitori
With blade of wind,
You keep everyone at distance.
Quietly you shed blood,
Crying, screaming, alone.

Zutto matteta kono deai-wo
Ienai kizu kakushiteru kimi-wo
Dakishimesasete itsuka
A power from ancient times awakens,
You always waited for this meeting.
Uncurable wound hides you,
Let me embrance you, someday.
Owari-no nai sekai

World that's not ending,
There's no place where you can after struggle.
Kimi-ha toki-no mukou-de

Mienai todokanai ima-mo
Beyond the time,
You leave into opposite direction.
I wanted to touch your heart,
Yet I can't see it, reach it, even now.

Kimi-wo kako-kara yobimodosu-no
Karada-wo awase subete-wo yurushite

Frozen chest, I've found gentleness,
Since past days I've been calling you back.
Get your act together, I forgive everything,
Sleep in peace.

Rizal: Rebolusyon at Kasarinlan (Jose Rizal Movie)

Meridian

Book Title: Meridian
Author: Amber Kizer

Half-human, half-angel, Meridian Sozu has a dark responsibility. Sixteen-year-old Meridian has been surrounded by death ever since she can remember. As a child, insects, mice, and salamanders would burrow into her bedclothes and die. At her elementary school, she was blamed for a classmate’s tragic accident. And on her sixteenth birthday, a car crashes in front of her family home—and Meridian’s body explodes in pain. Before she can fully recover, Meridian is told that she’s a danger to her family and hustled off to her great-aunt’s house in Revelation, Colorado. It’s there that she learns that she is a Fenestra—the half-angel, half-human link between the living and the dead. But Meridian and her sworn protector and love, Tens, face great danger from the Aternocti, a band of dark forces who capture vulnerable souls on the brink of death and cause chaos.

"If you lived long enough, you learn time is an illusion created by men who fear death. The clocks and watches worshipped by those who deny the inevitable. There is power in acknowledging that we are not the ones in control."
- Great aunt Merry

On Masses and People

Yesterday night, I went to church. Well, I don’t regularly go to church every Sunday but don’t get me wrong. I still believe in their teachings but not all the time. I guess, I’m just being critical in what to believe or not.

The gospel was about mankind’s sin because of disobeying God’s wishes and how people are tempted and being tempted everyday. The priest also mentioned events concerning the recent disasters in Japan and to pray for the people there. While listening, I began to glimpse at the people around me. I can’t help but notice that most of the people were not actually listening. They just seemed listening and that made me think. What is really the point of going to masses if we’re not listening and pondering what the church has to teach us? I admit that it’s hard to listen all the time. Every once in a while we tend to wander off and do our own musings but it would do no harm if we learn to pay attention to the gospel and the sermon. Why? Because this is what we’re there for, not because others want us to or we just want others to see us. Not also for whatever reasons.

However, it is still up to us to evaluate our own purpose of going to the church. No one can really know what our intentions really are or whether we had any intentions at all. As for me, I still cannot promise that I will go to church every Sunday but I believe that it works for me. I’d be dishonest to myself if I do so.

Until the next time I attend another mass… X

The low sky grieves with a face that's about to cry
Without ever doing so, it shaves off a moment

It's so lame for me to fret
And I refuse to sit still as I play dumb
There's nothing at all I want to do
I stealthily hold a Meissen in my mouth on the rooftop
Somehow, being at Saizeriya today isn't any fun
I'm watching my main man with worried eyes
Even if I lie, "I ain't crying!"
And try to act tough, it seriously hurts
I'm used to commuting through a dim highway
The i-Pod I bought after a huge hassle
Shallow rap that's got nothing more than a shiny surface
A flimsy bag that's heavy for some reason
The place that should be pleasantly warm
Is oppressive, and I throw open a window
I'm about to be flattened by heavy pressure
In the usual park that I run away into
asatte bakka miteta tte kotae wa denai koto datte wakatteru
Fearing a tomorrow where I embrace the anxiety that everything's about to shatter

What will I draw on the tomorrow that reality stained pure black?
I struggle and shine

Draw a crappy-looking sketch of yourself
Within a limited, cramped amount of time
Right now, I'm still fine with that

Tangled

Rapunzel: I’ve been looking out of a window for eighteen years, dreaming about what I might feel like when those lights rise in the sky. What if it’s not everything I dreamed it would be?

Flynn Rider: It will be.

Rapunzel: And what if it is? What do I do then?

Flynn Rider: Well, that’s the good part I guess. You get to go find a new dream.

If you feel it, you'll be able to see
That meaningful tomorrow
aa asahi wa noboru
suiheisen
ima shinjireba kawaru no sa
muimi ja nai ano hikari
Ah, the morning sun rises
Over the horizon
If you believe, that meaningful light
Will change
